Prototyping

Prototype testing early in the design process allows concepts to be validated, and usability problems to be dealt with, before entering into the more expensive later phases of design and build.

Overview

We create, test and iterate prototypes at various stages in the design process. At an early stage this allows the central concepts and propositions to be explored. In later stages of the project it allows you to refine and validate design detail.

Testing prototypes with representative end-users allows the important development decisions to be validated prior to release. This can significantly lower risk within your project. Early tests with low-fidelity prototypes can significantly lower the overall cost of your project – and increase the likelihood of commercial success.

We’re quick too: consultants can develop most prototypes in a matter of days giving you the opportunity to test, verify and refine your design before committing to the build phase.

Features and benefits:

  • Enables an iterative design process – lowers cost and risk in your project
  • Provides ongoing customer input to development
  • Rapid development of prototypes can improve your speed to market
  • Reduces the need for costly post-launch fixes or rework
