Foolproof represented at Beijing OlympicsAdded ( 23-07-2008 )
OK, so we haven't got a potential gold medallist beavering away in our offices but two members of the Foolproof-sponsored Hatfield Swimming Club will be in Beijing competing for Great Britain. Foolproof's name and logo now adorns the Hatfield club's training gear. And this month, two of its swimmers – Adam Brown and Richard Charlesworth - are competing for medals in Beijing. Fingers crossed that we could yet see Foolproof's name poolside, if not on the rostrum! For those of you wanting to cheer on our adopted stars, Adam will be swimming in the men's 4x100m freestyle heats on Sunday 10 August at 6.30pm BST and hopefully the following day in the final at 10 am BST. Richard will be competing in the men's 1500m freestyle heats on Friday 15 August at 6.30pm BST and then fingers crossed in the final the next day at 10am BST. |
